Marlo Vashti

Hi, I’m Marlo!

Acting, singing and poetry have always been the steady flames lighting the journey of Marlo Vashti’s life. A natural Leading Lady, she has performed for thousands of people, across stages and screens, equally in the spotlight or behind a microphone.

She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Florida Atlantic University, where she co-founded The Black Undergraduate Theatre Collective — a space carved out for any marginalized students to create boldly and be seen fully. That experience not only shaped her as a performer but as a person: one who believes deeply in the power of storytelling to liberate, connect, and transform.

Shaped by the language of Jazz, her voice is rich, emotive, and intentional. Her commitment to a character and storytelling is honest & grounded. She brings warmth, vulnerability, and confidence to venues throughout South Florida, offering audiences moments that linger long after the last note.

Between her personal creative projects, she is also an ensemble member with New City Players, a professional theatre company, and Art Prevails Project, a nonprofit dedicated to social impact through art where she is a Teaching Artist. Whether she’s educating, in a production, writing a new piece, or singing something soulful & majestic, Marlo leads with care.

She’s an empath, an observer, and a vessel for stories that need telling.
At the core of her work is a deep belief: art is service. And through it, we heal, we grow, and create a better world.
